My name is Eugene and I am a post-doc in mathematics at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, where I work with Vladimir Troitsky in the area of Vector and Banach lattices. My main focus is the study of convergence structures on vector lattices, their classification, and connection to the projection properties of vector lattices.

Previously I was a student at the University of Manitoba. There I was developing an axiomatic theory of Normed Spaces of Continuous Functions. The main motivation for it comes from the study of various Banach Spaces of Analytic Functions, which is in the focus of the research of my thesis advisor Nina Zorboska.

See a short description of my research and my papers in the corresponding sections of this site. You can also have a look at my CV and research statement.

Additionally, I am interested in other areas of mathematics with extensive geometric content and relatively little of algebraic or analytic apparatus, such as General Topology, Convex Geometry and Geometric Measure theory.

I received my Bachelor degree in Kiev National University in 2011. I worked in Topological Dynamics, and my advisor was Sergii Kolyada (R.I.P.). Also, during the time there I used to compose a lot of problems in planimetry as a hobby.

For my interests beyond mathematics see "Miscellaneous" section.
